The Wages Preview Report provides a detailed overview of time punch records for shifts worked by employees. This report helps in previewing the wages before final processing, ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations. The report includes the following details:
- Employee Name: The full name of the employee who worked the shift.
- Employee ID: A unique identifier for the employee.
- Earning Code Type & Description: The type of earnings (e.g., regular, overtime) and a description of the code.
- Date of Shift: The specific date the shift occurred.
- Punch In/Out Times: The recorded start and end times of the employee’s shift.
- Customer Name: The name of the customer or client associated with the shift.
- Work Site (Post Location): The specific location or site where the shift took place.
- Rate Codes: Any applicable rate codes associated with the shift, if present.
- Number of Hours Worked: The total hours worked during the shift.
- Pay Rate: The pay rate associated with the shift.
- Total Amount: The total earnings for the shift, calculated by multiplying the number of hours worked by the pay rate.
- Grand Totals: The overall total for the report, aggregating the total amount for all shifts.
- Earning Code Breakdown: A breakdown of different earning types, such as regular hours, overtime, double time, and holiday hours.

How to build it...
If you are seeking to create the Wages Preview Report, go to the lateral menu of your instance and click the tab "Payroll", you will see the option "Wages Preview Report"; open the tab and you will see the filters for you to input the information desired for the system to build the report.
Filters it contains:
- Branch = Single Selection
- Date Range
- Accounts = All, Single or Multiple Selection
- Employee Search = All, Single or Multiple Selection
Once you click the blue button "Generate report" that is below the filters previously set, the report will automatically downloaded to your device in PDF format.
