The Message Center chat feature is a convenient way to communicate directly with employees through the mobile application. To save time and maintain consistency, the system offers preset chat templates that you can easily drag and drop into conversations—eliminating the need to type out the same messages repeatedly.
How to Access and Edit Chat Templates:
- Navigate to the Message Center module > Click on the Chat Template tab.
- Locate the template you wish to update.
- Click the yellow pencil icon to edit.
- Make any necessary changes to the chat message, and ensure the status is set to Active if you want the message to go live immediately.
- Select the appropriate category, then click Update to save your changes.
Creating a New Chat Template:
- Select Add New.
- Enter the new Chat message.
- Choose an existing message category to organize the template, then click Add chat template.
Tip: If you don’t see a suitable category, you can create a new one:
- Click Add Template Category > then add category.
- Enter a name and click Add Category.
These templates help streamline communication and ensure that messaging remains clear and consistent across your team.
