The FTE Report stands for Full Time Equivalence Report. It shows employees who worked each month and how many hours they worked. Additionally, it measures how many total full-time employees or part-time employees add up to full-time employees that your company employs.
To access the ACA FTE Report, please navigate to the "Reports" module and select "Company Reports." Locate the desired report and click on the green [Play] button to proceed.
This will open a new tab; here, you will see the filters for you to input the information desired for the system to build the report.
Filters:
- Year Selected: Select the year the report should be built for.
- Paydate Assignment: Filter between first Day of Pay Period or Last Day of Pay Period.
- Employee Types to Exclude: Select the type of employees to be excluded from the report.
After applying your filters, click on 'Build Report.' Once the report is generated, you may choose to click Download to save a copy as a PDF file.
Column breakdown:
- Employee: Employee ID.
- Employee Name: name of employee.
- Month: What month they worked for.
- Hours Worked: Total hours worked for the month by the employee.
- Full-Time Min: minimum amount of hours they would have needed to work to be considered full-time.
- Full-Time Count: Counts as 1 if the employee met the minimum full-time hours.
- FTE Hours Limit: The number of hours used as the baseline to determine a full-time equivalent (FTE) employee over a given period.
- FTE Count: counts 1 if the employee is counted in the FTE.
- FTE Applicable Hours: How many hours are being applied toward the FTE.
