Reconciling break times for employee shifts is essential for ensuring compliance with labor laws, optimizing workforce productivity, and maintaining operational transparency.
1. Access Break Reconciliation
To begin:
- Navigate to the Invoice module.
- Select Reconciliation Management.
- In the upper-right corner of the page, click on Break List.
2. Filter Breaks
Use the available filters to narrow down the breaks you want to review:
- Branch
- Client
- Employee
- Shift Date Range (From / To)
- Break Type
- Break Flag
3. View and Reconcile Breaks
Here, you’ll be able to reconcile both the break start time and duration as needed. Additionally, for each break, you can select one of the following Pay and Bill options:
- Use the Break – Approve the break as valid and unpaid.
- Ignore the Break – Disregard the break entirely (it will not be counted or paid).
- Use Premium – Pay the employee for the break time (typically used when a break was missed or shortened)
Once completed, click Submit to finish the break reconciliation.
The break status will be updated and reflected under the corresponding shift details.
5. Archived Breaks
To review or reconcile older breaks:
Click on the [Archived Breaks List] option in the upper-right corner.
If a mistake was made or changes are needed, breaks can also be unreconciled to allow for correction.
