Editing Invoice Aging Days
Invoice aging days refers to the duration an invoice remains unpaid from its issue date. You can modify the metrics that are used to track how long customers are taking to pay their invoices. Aging days begin to accumulate once a company sends an invoice.
-
Navigate to “Master Company Settings”.
-
Select General Settings and then locate the Invoice Setting tab, press Aging Days.
-
Edit the day ranges for each aging tier by adjusting the “From Days” to start the aging range and the “To Days” to end it. You can add more rows if needed.
-
The system uses a traffic light color scheme, progressing from Green (lowest aging days) to Red (highest aging days).
**To change the color scheme, click the color box and select a new color to change it. Press Update to save changes.
-
Use the status button to activate or deactivate each aging range, allowing you to retain it in the system for future modifications.
-
Use the red trashcan button to permanently delete a range from the system.
-
A Logs History at the bottom of the screen records all changes made to the aging system. This ensures complete visibility of actions and prevents any misuse.
