Employee Navigation Panel – "All Employees" View
On the left-hand navigation panel, multiple employee types are listed. The All Employees section displays a combined list of both Admin and Non-Admin employees.
Within this view—and all employee views—users can search for employee data using the tabs located at the top of the screen. These tabs become visible once the Filter button is selected.
Unique Tools in the "All Employees" View
There are two tools available exclusively in the All Employees view that are not present in other employee type views:
- Send Login Credentials (Top Right Corner):
Clicking this button opens a tool that allows users to send login credentials via text, email, or both. This is especially useful during the initial system setup. - Airplane Icon (Per Employee):
This icon is available in all employee views and can be used to send login credentials on an individual basis.
Important Note on Passwords
Regardless of the method used—whether sending credentials in bulk or individually—the system will generate and assign a new unique password each time credentials are sent.
Available Employees
This view includes all non-admin employees. By default, these employees do not have access to the admin panel. Their access is limited to:
- Viewing their assigned schedules.
- Submitting and reviewing time-off requests.
- Accessing their paystubs.
Admin Employees
Admin employees have access to the admin panel, but their level of access is determined by the role(s) assigned to them. Key details include:
- An admin can be assigned one or multiple roles
- Permissions are cumulative, meaning that access expands based on the combined permissions of all assigned roles
Subcontractors
Subcontractor profiles serve as a billable but non-payable placeholder. These profiles:
- Automatically clock themselves in
- They are ideal when working with external vendors or when limited information is available about the individual performing the work
- Are used in scenarios where you are billing a client for the service, but the individual performing the task is not on your payroll
This is especially helpful when another company is completing work on your behalf and you need to track the activity without affecting payroll calculations.
