Sometimes, an employee’s recorded hours don’t match the time they actually worked. This can happen if an employee misses their clock-in or check-out, or if there are last-minute schedule changes. To ensure employees are paid accurately, it's important to update these hours directly on the Schedule Board.
To begin, navigate to the Schedule Board by clicking “Schedule” in the left-side panel of the software. This will bring up your full schedule, where you can see all shifts.
Once you’re on the Schedule Board, locate the employee whose payroll time needs to be updated. Click on their shift to highlight it. After the shift is highlighted, right-click on it to reveal a menu of options. From this menu, select “Update Payroll Times.”
A new window will open, allowing you to manually adjust the Clock In and Clock Out times. Simply enter the correct times to reflect the actual hours worked. After making the changes, click the blue [Save] button to save your adjustments.
Once the changes are saved, the green banner on the shift will update to show the corrected payroll hours, ensuring your records are accurate and your employee is paid properly.
